What I'll Do For You...

Style Your Stuff is all about bringing a fresh look to your space through room organization, cleaning, style, and/or home decorating. There is always a stylish alternative to organizing your closet, desk space, laundry room or maybe it just takes an outsiders eye to see your couch is simply on the wrong wall! Whether your budget is large or small, there is always a solution to creating a fun, organized, & clean space. Adding a little color or rearranging your space may be just the change you are looking for.

I offer a 1/2 hour consultation for $30, where I will come in to your space & discuss with you what your goals and style are, & evaluate how you want to "style your stuff."

(additional fee may apply for ferry commutes)

How will YOUR space be transformed & What are your options?

1. We can work as a team & accomplish the tasks together (cleaning, shopping, organizing, decorating, etc.)


2. I can be your personal shopper (I will go out & purchase the items we agree on on your budget).


3. You can do your own homework & I will return back to your space to help you put it back together.


4. You can use my 1/2 hour consultation & plan to follow through on your own & complete the project yourself.

How Much Do I Charge?

My base rate is $20/hr, but each project will be quoted individually. We will determine what project level your space is, using the scale below.

PROJECT LEVEL.... 1 (minor)- 5 (major)

After the initial consultation, you may want my help following through with your project. Here are some examples of projects & solutions with the estimated completion time.

* Project Estimated Time: 1-2 hrs. Your living room has not been changed around since you moved in. The entertainment center has become a free-for-all with piles of magazines, DVD covers & dust. There is no light in the room & you have mismatched colors and fabrics throughout your space. You need help cleaning, bringing some new & fun energy into your space, and may need to rearrange your furniture to create more space. All work can be done in one day. Project level 1.

* Project Estimated Time: 3-4 hrs. Your closet needs an overhaul. Wire hangers do not belong in your closet. Your shoes have taken over & your sweaters from 10 years ago are clearly out of style. Get the most out of your closet space with cute storage boxes, a shoe rack & some solid hangers that will do the job. A second opinion on your wardrobe is always helpful. All work can be done in one day. Project level 2.

* Project Estimated Time: 3-5 hrs. You need your office space totally organized. You have papers everywhere, a junk drawer full of you know what...junk & you have no idea how to calendarize your events. You need some file folders, labels & a calendar. You might want some containers to organize some of your "junk." Organization done in one day with some "homework" for you to complete. Project level 3.

* Project Estimated Time: 2-6 hrs. The kids' rooms are a mess! There are WAY too many toys that aren't being played with. Clothes are on the floor & your dressers are empty. There is no artwork or personalization for your child's room or maybe there are simply one too many Star Wars figurines taking up the space. A yard sale or a run to the thrift store might be in order. Most work can be done in 1-2 days. Project level 4

* Project Estimated Time: 5-6 hrs. The kitchen layout just doesn't make sense. Your pots & pans are too difficult to reach, your plastic containers don't have lids to be found & your cupboards could used a good wipe down. Pulling everything out & giving it a good wipe down just might do the trick. Organizing your silverware in the proper place along with pulling out all your table linens might take more time, but it will all make your days in the kitchen a happier place. Project level 5.
